I know Christmas is over :( but I loved this picture of the kiddos with Santa. We went down to FLIPnOUT the Saturday before Christmas and Santa was there. He had all sorts of fun things for the kids to wear in the pictures. You can't tell unless you look closely that Trevin is wearing elf ears, Dallin is wearing antlers, Jayli is an angle, and of course Kason was wayyy too cool to wear anything. It looked great down there.
Santa stood up for a minute and Trevin jumped right into his chair. Taylor went over to him to sit on his lap since he was in Santa's chair. I love this picture. They all love Taylor so much!

New year
I have a hard time believing it has almost been 3 years since I blogged last. Dallin is now the age that Trevin was at that time. I don't even know where to being. So instead of trying to go back and catch up, i'm just gonna start from here and try to keep up.
We had a wonderful Christmas. Its always nice to have the kids home for 2 weeks. Jayli was very ready to go back to class. She missed it. Kason....not so much.
Kason is 10 and in the 4th grade. He is in an all boy class and his teacher is Mr. Galante. He just got done playing flag football with his teacher being the coach. He loved it and had a great time. He is having a good year and really discovering that he enjoys reading. He just hit 510,000 words so far this year. His teacher is encouraging them to reach 1,000,000 this year. He should be able to make it if he keeps up at this pace. Kason still loves to run. He would run home from anywhere we go if we would let him. It doesn't matter what time it is or what the temperature is, he wants to run. He has made some great friends this year. Kason is the best...I love him!
Jayli is 7 and in 2nd grade. She is in an all girl class and her teacher is Ms. Callahan. She is a little smarty pants. So far school is just coming very easy to her. At parent teacher conferences her teacher said she couldn't have scored any higher on any of the testing. That's great except I worry she will get bored. Her teacher is great though and gives her extra work. She just loves everything about school. I hope it stays that way forever. She is my little best bud. She loves getting her hair cut, going shopping, painting nails, making bracelets...all the fun girly stuff. I'm so grateful for her, us girls we gotta stick together. She is the best, love my Jayli!
Trevin just turned 5 and he is.......whats the word? He is the goofiest, funniest, cuddliest, sweetest little monster around!!!! He is so crazy still. I kept thinking he would grow out of it, but he hasn't yet (which i'm glad about!) He will be acting crazy and then say "mom ya know what.....I love you!" Hes very sweet and he definitely loves him mommy. He is getting to be very smart. He will start kindergarten in the fall and I dont think hes super excited about that. He is going to be the one of my kids that is crying on my leg everyday before school. He is really good with numbers. I don't know how but he just gets them. He can count forever, count by 10's, add, he recognizes big numbers. Its fun to see him learning so much. He keeps me on my toes...I sure love him hes the best!
Dallin Dallin Dallin.....he is 2 and does his best to keep right up with his brothers and sister. There is not a single drop of fear in that little stink. He is so funny. Hes right at that funny age, where he wants everyone to laugh at him. He will do something and then look around to see if anyone is watching, if we laugh at him, he does it again and again and again! He is officially potty trained, and its pretty nice. There is just something about a 2 year old in little undies that I love!!! He is our little blondie who LOOOOOOVES sports. You should see this kid kick a football or throw a baseball, or kick a soccer ball, or even dribble a basketball....he loves it all and hes actually really good. Hes my cutest best little stinker around love my Dallin!
Everything else is good!!!!!! Just keepin on keepin on! One of my goals for this year, is to keep up on this so hopefully there will be some fun things to update on.

really really bad
I know I know, I am the most terrible blogger EVER! I want to do it, and I think about it all the
time, but I just don't get around to it. It makes me super sad.
So this is what Trevin did today! This cute guy sure does keep me on my toes.
.
I have about a billion other things to blog about, but that'll have to wait!

Hair!
Jayli is soooo into having her hair done all of a sudden.
Which for her is completely opposite of the norm.
She likes me to blow dry it, then curl it!! This is
how it looks when it's all done. She loves it. It's
so fun to actually do her hair now that it's not
a total fight!
Doesn't she look pretty!!
Here is just the back with it all done
of the picture action! Here's my big
posin boy! He likes that you can see
his missing tooth!

Rain deer
SANTA!!!
Santa came to our ward party. This is the first year in the
history of the Taylors that all the kids have sat on Santa's
lap without any tears! Don't mind Jayli's hair hanging right
into her eyeballs. She is into having her hair straight and
then in pig tails. Which is totally fine, except she still has
those blasted bangs. We're still working on it!
What did the kids ask for??:
Kason: rollerblades
Jayli: a gps video game (a ds)
Trevin: nothing
What's Trevin been up to lately?
Thanksgiving
We had such a fun Thanksgiving this year. We had everyone over to my moms house. My Grandparents, Aunt and Uncle, and cousins. Always makes for a good time!! Had a yummo dinner and then hung out. That night at about 10:30...me, Kasey, Bry, and Scoot headed over to good ol' Wal-mart for a little black Friday early morning shopping. Scott and Bry had never been before so it was fun. I don't think they had as much fun as we did....but I loved having them there with us. We got most everything we went for and ran into so many people that we know and haven't seen for a long time. We got back to my moms at about 2:30 and went straight to bed. That next morning I had a haircut appointment. YEAH!!!!! Friday night we went BACK over to Price to go on a date. It was SOOO FUN! Me, Kasey, Scott, Teresa, Timmy, Allison, Kyle, Brandon and Tammy. We started off at Wingers (YUM!!!!), then we went bowling. I pretty much lost every time, but i'm not super worried about not being good at bowling. Then we ran into Kmart, then went to Coldstone for some ice cream. After that we had to run back into walmart for the like 10th time in 24 hours. A huge thank you to my mom and dad. They did a whole lot of babysitting while we were there. The kids always have so much fun with grandma and grandpa. Me and grandma spent the next morning painting some rain deer. I've wanted some for a long time, and my sweet dad was nice enough to cut them out real quick so I could have my own set. I remember them growing up and playing with them and my kids love to play with them at grandmas. They were super excited to get to bring ours home. Later Saturday Teresa and the kiddos came over for dinner and to hang out. We did a little painting, a little bow making and lots of eating! Thanks guys. Did I already say that I had such a FUN, super duper Fun Thanksgiving!
About 15 minutes into the looooong trip!
More October
At Kasons school they had a bike rodeo. All the kiddos
got to bring their bikes to school and learn all about
safety and bike rules. It was really fun. He LOVED it.
Each of the kids even got a new helmet. They also looked
over their bikes to make sure everything was in proper
working order. They checked the pedals, chain, tire
pressure, brakes, you name it...it was checked. His
bike passed...whoohoo!!
Here he is in his helmet.
the backyard. Dont look at the messy messy yard...we are
waiting for it to cool down! Wait....now it's December...Oops.

So I realize it's been a very long time since I've posted anything. I really hate that. I was looking back through all the old posts and it made me super sad that I have been doing such a crappy job. As I was laying in bed last night in my lortab induced coma, I realized I really really need to be better at this blogging thing.
So just as a little tiny teaser, here are a few pictures from our most recent adventure!....or just 1

Catch up!
So here is a whole bunch of pretty old pictures. It'll probably be super boring to you,
but I wanted to add them all so I would have them.
This is as much as I'm gonna do tonight, but I'll be back hopefully tomorrow and get some more done. If I can do this much every night then it'll only take me about a month to catch up!
happy looking
