Mr. Weight Watchers???

So last night I was making dinner and Kason said he wanted to help me. This is typical since he loves to help me cook. I turn around to help him scoot his step stool up and he is trying to put on my apron. Totally naked, with an apron! This is a very typical Kason! Silly guy!!!

Tired Tuesday!

After a long night I'm very sleep today, but I'm so excited because I'M GOING TO NEW YORK TOMORROW!!!! Me and my mom, Allison, Marilyn and Tammy are all going on a girls trip. I can't wait, but I have so much to do to get ready. My dad is coming down to watch the kids until Friday and then Kaseys family will be with them on Monday. This will be the first time away from Jayli and just the second away from Kason. I have only been away from him when Jayli was born and even then I still got to see him everyday. Hopefully they remember me when I get home.

Kason started preschool last week. A few moms in our ward are just doing it. So far he loves it. I think he mostly just likes the girls to chase him. Here is a picture of him right before we were going the first day.

Lunch of champions...Corndogs!!

Jayli in the shower getting ready for church on Sunday. She loves to take a shower.

Kason decided that need to wash his hair in the sink with hand soap. Strange little guy!!

Thursday, Thursday!!

Today was a busy day. I had to brave the post office, which was surprisingly the fastest trip on record there. Then we took the car in for an oil change and a few random warranty things. Keli met us there and then gave us a ride back to her house where we met up with a few more people to get our little preschool all figured out. The kids had a blast playing and it was fun to sit and chat with the other moms. Kason loves to chase the little girls and loves even more when they chase him. I can tell hes going to give us a run for our money in a few years. After that Keli brought us home. Jayli fell asleep in her high chair with her hand in her plate full of ketchup (darn where was the camera) and I got the house cleaned up and got dinner started. About 1/2 hour later Kasey got home from work, but wasn't alone. He came home with a migraine. Fun stuff. He took his medicine ate a bit of dinner and passed out on the chair. We couldn't believe when he woke up after sleeping only about an hour, usually its at least 10. We really hope that he feels better tomorrow for our trip to Salt Lake. Its Grandpa Ellis' 80th Birthday party on Saturday. We are very excited to see everyone, we don't get up that way near enough. Well we've had our ice cream and watched big brother so I guess that means its time for bed. That was really long and boring, but I'm going to use this as a journal, so I want to remember all of the little everyday things. Night Night!!!

Its already Wednesday!

After the nice long holiday weekend, I can't believe the week is half over. We had a pretty relaxed weekend, nothing too exciting!

One exciting thing though....Jayli went pee on the potty 2 times yesterday! She is too funny. I was changing her diaper and she said "potty" so I let her get up and she ran into the bathroom, sat on her little potty, and SHE PEED!!!! YEAH. Kason is quite the little helper, he thinks it's all pretty funny.

We are heading to Salt Lake this weekend for Grandpa Ellis' 80th birthday party! Should be lots of fun to see everyone.

Here are a few more pictures, just for fun.

Kason was so excited after it rained that he got to go and ride through all the puddles. He was a total mess after he was finished.

Jayli getting ready for bed! She cant sleep without her care bear from Scott and Brittney.

Fun Friday!!!

So we have decided that we better join the blog craze! Hopefully it won't take us too long to figure it all out.

Well to start us off, here are some new pictures of the kids that we just had taken. They are getting way too big wayyyyy too fast. Kason will turn 4 on October 8th and Jayli just turned 1 on April 3rd.

Kason has quite the little imagination. Today he told me, "Mom, I think I'll be a superman today, and then a garbage man tomorrow!" Silly kid. Jayli is learning so much and trying to keep up with her brother. They have the best time playing together...well most of the time. As long as she doesn't mess up the masterpiece he is making, all is good.
