now...it's Tuesday!

So the tootsie roll was Friday, the makeup Sunday, now...it's Tuesday. Jayli decided to make herself a glass of chocolate milk (with a little brother help) while I was on the phone. What is it with her being completely covered in something at all times? Maybe she just feels naked without a face full of chocolate. Who knows!

Don't be afraid!

This girl....I swear! She is always right ahead of me. I can't seem to keep anything up high enough. Her new obsession.......Mommy's makeup. Of course it can't be her play makeup, cause "It's not working" she tells me. The other day I was doing her hair, and I said to her that she looked so pretty. She said "no mommy, I no have makeup on" GREEEAT! If shes this bad at 2, what will we be looking at when shes 10! Although you cant tell from the pictures, she actually had mascara on her eyelashes, and they are super long. Then she covered her body in a bronzer that is basically just a waxy mess. Kasey had to take a scrub brush to her to get it off. I guess she at least tried to wash it off herself in my sink, no such luck though. I should have taken a picture of the ring around the tub, pretty nasty and not so easy to scrub clean. Ahh...She's a stinker! Good thing shes cute!! Don't you just love that little hand print on the counter though?

Primary!

This little girl LOVES to go to church. She asks me almost everyday if she gets to go to class. She runs right in and has no problem staying. She has such a great time with her friends, and of course it helps that they get to do bubbles!

Tootsie Rolls!

So I got a recipe from a friend for home made tootsie rolls. I thought this would be a fun thing to make with the kids, so we set out to give it a whirl! I couldn't get it thick enough to roll out so I just had it sitting in the pan. I went to answer the phone and then came right back. I couldn't imagine where Kason and Jayli had snuck off to....but what I did know, was I need to find them quick!! This is what I saw when I found them hiding in their room!

The boxing champion

Ok this is a really bad video cause it was so dark,
but you get the idea. Don't mind the messy room!

We finally made the move!

We decided to put Jayli's bed into Kasons room and
then put all of the toys in Jayli's room. It has been
so much better having a toy room. They actually
have enough room to play in there.

First we had to do a little repair work on the book shelf!

Then we moved in Jayli's dresser

All finished!!

Anyone else need a cow?

The other day we were out of milk and Kason said to me "mom we should get a cow" when I asked him how come he said "cause we're all out of !milk, and if we had a cow, we could just make our own!" Maybe a cow isn't that bad of an idea, then maybe it would keep all the weeds down in the backyard!

Such a slacker!

So its kinda hard to tell but that is one of those giant tubs.
It is completely overflowing with clothes out of only Jayli's
closet and dresser that are too small. This is my very least
part about kids clothes. I just put it off and hope someone
else will do it for me. Unfortunately this has never happened.
I found some shirts in her closet that were sized 6-9 month.
Craziness! Now just to get Kasons room done. Blah!!

My poor baby!

This is what happens when I go to work one night a week (just joking Kasey). This is what happens when you fall off the recliner and whack your head on the lever to pull the foot rest out. My poor baby. She just cant catch a break, always has a bruise on her face.

She didn't seem too bothered by it, probably because she got to do this after......

This girl loves to take a bath. Especially when daddy is home and he lets her get in the sink. Kason apparently couldn't resist the fun. See all the fun I miss going to work just 4 hours a week!!!

HELP ME!!!

Someone please tell me that my kid is not the only one who has done this. The only thing I can say is I am so glad that I purchased the WASHABLE markers the night before. A quick rinse through the washer and they looked brand new! Well as new as old yucky couches can look!!
Kason highly recommends washable markers to all the kids out there. Things could have been much worse at the Taylor house!

Kason's new friend.

Kasey was out pulling weeds on Saturday morning and he found a frog. Kason wasn't quite sure what to think about it at first. It hung around just for a few days but now it is gone! Kason keeps going out to see if he has come back, but no such luck. Maybe once it cools down a little bit he will come around again.

Art in the making

Since it's been so hot here I've been trying to come up with
fun things for the kids to do inside. Who would have thought
they could have so much fun with a little glue, macaroni, and paint!
