The Wedding!

Kyle and Danielle asked Kason to be the ring bearer for their wedding on the 29th! At first he was excited since he already knew the plan from Scott and Brittneys wedding, then he decided he didn't want to do it. We (well actually just me) took him to get fitted for his mini tux. Sounds fun huh.....NOPE it was a nightmare. Jayli fell asleep on the way so I was trying to hold her. We had to wait a bit for some help since it was packed so I finally layed Jayli down on the couch. Perfect!! Then the girl came out and did all the measuring, this part was ok. Then she brought out all the pieces and he insisted on going into the dressing room. Strange since he doesn't care who sees him in his undies. So the girl helping us told me she would watch Jayli for me so I didn't have to try and hold her and change him. So we get in there and he doesn't want to wear ANY OF IT. But we finally get it all tried on and then we're on our way back home. In the car I asked him "Why were you acting like that" his response....."I have ants in my tummy again, and they didn't want me to wear those clothes, so they made me cranky....I'm sorry mommy. The ants are gone now, so I wont be cranky anymore!" What the........
So then we're getting ready for the wedding on Saturday and he is insisting on wearing his new race car shoes. So we tell him that he can wear them until we get there then he needs to wear the other ones. Luckily he agrees. On the way there he tells me "I don't want to be in Kyles wedding, I want to be in MY wedding!"
Once we got there and we were getting him all dressed everyone kept telling him how cute he looked. At first he would say "No I don't" but then I think he started to like it. He would walk up to someone and just look at them with his hands in his pockets and wait for them to say how cute he was. He did a great job during the wedding, and even wore his tux..minus the jacket for the whole open house.
Then when we were getting ready for church yesterday and he was insisting on wearing his wedding clothes. I wish we would have kept them so he could wear it. We left it with Koni so should could return it for us.
So....here are some pictures of the little stud all dressed up!

On our way to the wedding!

Daddy helping him get all ready!
All ready except the shoes.
This is where he started to like all the attention he was getting.
Waiting to go in with Jayli and Jordyn

Not quite sure what to do now....He thought his Daddy was going to be walking with him

Christmas Fun!

Kason having a little snack. He just helped himself to the carton of ice cream.

Jayli riding on her zebra she got for Christmas from Scott and Brittney

She really liked all the presents, but she just kept going back for the candy. I didn't think she would actually like the nerd rope and so I would get to have it, but she tricked me. Stinker

Kason trying to decide where to go first.

The baby cradle Grandpa made for Jayli.

The tree before we woke up the kids

This is Jayli's new trick. When you are changing her diaper and getting her dressed, she takes off under the table. Little naked girl doesn't think you can see her when she is hiding!

We have a very fun Christmas. We were in Utah from Friday until Christmas Eve morning. Then we came home to spend Christmas Day with Kasey's family. It was a lot of fun that we got to see everyone this year. We went to Price on Sunday to have dinner with Lynn, Marilyn, Allison, Brandon, Tammy and Kids. It was fun as always. Then we went over to Mary Ann and Kevin's to see them and the kids. Stacey, Shelley, Sean and Ty were there. It was so good to see everyone, it has been way to long.
Christmas Day we finally woke the kids up at around 8:30. We got all the presents opened and played with a few things then we went over to Keli's house at 2 for lunch with all the Taylors. It was lots of fun. Kason and Jayli sure love being together with all of their cousins.
We hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas!

The Polar Express

Last Saturday we went to Boulder City to ride the Polar Express. It was really cold but the kids had tons of fun. It was the first time that either of them had been on a real train. Santa even came to visit.

Kason took this picture of me and Jayli

So this is Christmas

We finally got up our Christmas tree and decorations. Here are a few pictures for ya!
well apparently there is something up with this site and I cant upload any pictures...so you're just going to have to wait. Sorry for the fake out!
Things have been going good here, just keepin busy. Kason is getting very excited for Christmas this year. Every toy that comes on the tv he thinks he wants. Christmas morning should be lots of fun this year. I haven't wrapped a single thing yet (which I usually do the second I buy it) because I'm afraid that the kids will open them. But then I guess I will have lots of fun on Christmas Eve!!
Ok I'll try again later to see if the pictures will work.

4wheelin time

We went over to Scott and Brittneys house so Kason could ride his 4wheeler on the track that Scotty built for him. He was being too funny. He would follow right behind my dad and then take off to pass him. As he would pass me watching, he would say "I left him in my dust" Hes such a boy! Jayli loves to go for rides.

Fun at Grandma & Grandpas House!

We are in Ferron for the week. The kids are having a fun time with Grandma and Grandpa. Jayli cracks me up, she just follows around Grandpa all day saying...."Paapaa....Paapaa" Kason is having a blast riding 4wheelers and the golf cart.

The first night we were here Kason was sleeping in his little Thomas blow up bed right next to my bed. He wanted me to roll over so he could see me so we could talk. He said to me "Mommy...Thank you for bringing me here" Then gave me this huge smile. So then we're just laying there and he says "Mommy....I'm glad Heavenly Father gave you to be my mommy" then rolled over and fell asleep. He is such a sweet boy.

His new thing is he keeps telling me that he has ants in his tummy. That they all dig a hole into his tummy and they eat all his food so that is why he keeps getting hungry again. Last night he was just sitting there and said "oh no..I have ants in my tummy again....I better go and get them out" He has quite the imagination, he is so much fun.
Kason being goofy!!
Jayli talking to her daddy on the phone. She liked it in the bucket so she could hear herself echo.
Jayli playing the the new babies at grandmas. She really likes feeding them the bottle.

I can't believe its been so long since I've posted. I was doing so good, and then I don't know what happened.
Lets see....whats been happenin. Nothing too exciting. I've been sick for what seems like forever but its really just been about 2 weeks. I am finally about better though, thank goodness.
Luckily Kason is such a great helper that I was able to manage. He is such a great brother. They are starting to play together really well. Its so fun.
Jayli is definitely all girl. She already has an attitude. She tried to put me on time out yesterday. "Mommy....2...2...2....(then points to my room)" She doesn't know 1, 2, 3 yet so its all just 2's. It was pretty funny.
Me and the kiddos are going to go to Utah on Sunday to my parents house. Kasey will take us 1/2 way to meet my parents. He will come back home and then work Mon, Tues, and Wed then come up after work on Wed for Thanksgiving. We will have dinner at my moms on Thanksgiving and then we will be off to Price for shopping the next morning. It wont be the same as being able to go here, but it'll still be fun. Then me and Kasey, Bry, Sarah, Scott and Brittney are going on a date on Friday. Then Saturday we are doing family pictures. Sounds like lots of fun right........
We hope you all have a very happy and safe Thanksgiving!!!

Friday again

I can't believe its Friday again. Where do the weeks go. It will be Christmas before we know it. We are just having a lazy day today. I'm not feeling the greatest and I don't think the kiddos are either. I got the dishes in the dish washer and a load of towells in the washer so if that is all that gets done today, at least it was something.
I have a work party tomorrow that should be pretty fun. Its a formal dinner, so it will be fun to get all dressed up. Also......Taylor comes home tomorrow. We are so excited to see him and hear all his stories.
Well that's all for now, maybe I'll think of something interesting to say later!! Have a great weekend.

Happy Halloween!!

I haven't taken pictures of the kids in their costumes yet, but I will tonight. We have been getting lots of good use out of them this year.

Saturday night Kasey had a work party. We went to dinner and then to see Stomp out loud. It was really fun, really loud, but still lots of fun. It was fun to meet all the people he is working with. That night was our wards trunk-or-treat so Grandma and Aunt Keli took the kids for us. They had a great time.

Sunday was Kasey's birthday. We did the normal Sunday things and then just hung out. We ended up having his mom and 1 niece and 1 nephew over for dinner, but since they have a bigger dining room table we went to their house instead. So after we ate we were all just hanging out when Keli calls and asks if we forgot we were supposed to feed the Missionaries. I knew I didn't sign up because I wouldn't have on his birthday. So we tell them that we have plenty of food left and they are welcome to come over. So they hurry right over and ate dinner too. Then we had cake and sang "Happy Birthday" Kason was loving all the candles. Here is a picture of the candy bar bouquet we made for him.
Monday I dint think we did anything too exciting.
Tuesday Kason had preschool. He is finally starting to go again without a fight which is very nice for me. We rode bikes there so luckily Jayli feel asleep on the way home. After Kasey got home we hurry and had dinner and then went to a Halloween Carnival. It was really fun. The kids got tons of candy and its even the good stuff. Me and Keli left early to go to our ward volleyball game. It is really fun playing. I'm SOOOOO not good, but I still have a lot of fun. After Kasey and all the kids were done at the carnival they came up to watch us play. We didn't get home until around 9:30 so we have had to wait until today...Halloween day to carve our pumpkins. Hopefully the kids will wake up soon so we can get them done. And that brings us to today....Now you're all caught up on our last week! .
Here is a quick picture of Jayli's new piggies! I cant believe its long enough to pull it all back.

Preschool day 1l!!

So we had preschool at our house for the first time yesterday. It was really a lot of fun. We made sugar cookies and the kids loved that. Then we colored a star, cut it out and made it into a necklace. I asked them if they knew a song that had a star in it and they all started singing. So I had them all come into the living room, get up on the coffee table (probably not such a good idea, since I had been telling them they couldn't jump off it earlier, oh well) and they had their stage. This is what they sang to me....

So..... who's kid is the one screaming the song. Kason is definitely just like his dad, little show off. I can just picture him during a primary program doing the same thing.

I hope the kids had as much fun as I did yesterday.

Nursery

Jayli went to nursery for her first time yesterday. She loved it. When we got there they were having treats so she just sat down and started chowing away. As the kids would get down to play she would just stand up and move down the table to the next chair. She didn't want any food to go to waste, so she was just helping them clean it all up. She was by far the smallest one in there but she had a great time. She loves to play with kids especially when there is another girl!!!
They sang to Kason in primary since we haven't been to our ward since his birthday. He thought that was pretty cool and he even got his very own candy bar. He was very nice to share with us, even tried to give me his last bite. What a sweetie!

Not much goin on around here today, just trying to get cleaned up from the weekend. Ya know, normal Monday stuff!!

Here is a funny video of the kids that I just found. We are playing with a laser light and then its pretty funny of Kason laughing. Don't mind the whining at the first and the fact that you don't see a face through almost the whole thing!!

Foto Friday!

Ahhh Cute kids! Kasey is always telling me
that Jayli looks like a sheep dog when her
bangs are hanging in her face. She makes a pretty
cute sheep dog, don't ya think?

Jayli trying to play with a few of Kasons
toys before he wakes up.

As soon as Kason woke up today he said
"Mom, I need my spider man hat on so I can get out of bed"

Our first encounter with fruit by the foot.
Kason had to unroll his whole thing and then said
"Whoa...this is really really really big"
Then he rolled it into a ball and shoved it into his mouth.
