I can't believe Trevin is already 6 months old. "Happy 6 Months Little Man!!!" I love this little boy so much. He is such a good baby, he's very good to me!!! When 9pm comes rollin around, he is done for the day. As soon as you put him in his bed, give him his binki, and a blanket to cuddle up with he will roll onto his side and he is out until 7am!!!!!!! HEAVEN! He is so funny, he cracks me up. He instantly puts anything that touches his hand in his mouth! Here are a few recent pictures of him!

OUUUUUUCHHHHHHH!!!!!
**Ok my mom brought it to my attention that I had already blogged this.........so just pass by this one...I left this one though instead cause I put down all the details**
So, Jayli was the first of the Taylor clan to have to get stitches. It was a terrible night. We had been over to Kari and Tracy's house playing. We were just getting ready to leave and when Kasey went to tell Jayli it was time to go he found her bleeding in the living room. She was still doing the "I cant breath cause I'm going to start screaming" thing. When she finally started breathing she was not a happy girl. We got the bleeding stopped and then realized it was pretty deep. We decided it would be best to take a quick (yeah right, we live in Vegas remember) trip to the ER. Kason stayed at Karis house to play with Kaci and her friends. We got there at about 10:30 on Saturday night. She had fallen asleep on the way there and woke up to the triage nurse (who was great) talking to her. He checked her out and had us sit and wait for our name to be called. They had Horton hears a who playing and so she was entertained by that for a while. They finally called us back and took us right into a room. I was thinking....sweet we will be out of here in no time!! HA!!! RIGHT! The Dr finally came in and measured...she said it would need stitches. She had said if it was under 1mm then she wouldn't need them but it was almost 2. So again, we wait and wait and wait. By this time it is like 1:30 and Jayli finally falls asleep on the bed. They told us that they were going to put her in the papoose board while they give her the numbing shot. They told us that only one of us could stay in the room so me and Trevin (who slept like an angle the entire time) chose to leave. We just went right outside the room thinking they would close the door, which they didn't so I could hear her screaming the entire time. She kept screaming, "daddy, go and get mommy" it was heart breaking. It only took them about 5 minutes from start to finish and then she was so happy to see me. Poor little thing. We finally got home at 2:30 and went to pick Kason up. It was quite the adventure, one we hope to not take again for a long long time...if ever!
I love sleeping kids.....
There is just something about sleeping kids that I can't get enough of. Trevin is so funny when he is asleep. He has to have a blanket that he can cuddle up with.

Makeover: Jayli edition
Jayli was in desperate need of a haircut, so my sweet sister
in law Kari said she would come over and do it for me. Jayli
was actually very good. He wasn't really wanting it cut,
cause she wants her hair to be "long and pretty" but she
cooperated. Its much better now, but if I had my way, I
would it it again and chop it shoulder length. I think it
would be so cute cause it would be super duper
curly, but she wont go for it. Maybe I'll have to
bribe her! She will do almost
anything for a treat!
He's a tricky one!
Easter, The Taylor Way!
Since we have 9:00 church this year I had figured we would just do Easter morning after Church. To our surprise, the kids were up at 7 (What the....this never, ever, ever happens) so we got to do it that morning. Kason was so excited when he came into our room, he said...."the Easter bunny came!" Its fun that he is starting to remember things and get excited. After Church we came home and just relaxed a bit and then went up to Koni and Brians house for family dinner. Of course the food was great as well as the company.
These are the best pictures I got of the kids before church and then I forgot to get some more after and the kids had already changed their clothes. Grandma Ellis made Jayli the cutest little dress ever. It came complete with a matching purse and a dress just like it for her baby. Doesn't get much better in the eye of a 3 year old! I am funny about dresses for special occasions....I don't like ANYONE else to have the same one. So this worked out perfectly, nobody had anything near hers this year! Perfect!!!
So a few days before Easter we were coloring our eggs. Last year I bought the cool dye kit that had like 20 different colors and the only 4 that were used were.....blue and green for Kason, and pink and purple for Jayli. So this year I decided I would just get the cheapie box (88 cents, thanks Wal-mart!) and sure enough the same thing happened. Jayli wouldn't let me take her picture, but here is my cute Kason!
