Art in the making

Since it's been so hot here I've been trying to come up with
fun things for the kids to do inside. Who would have thought
they could have so much fun with a little glue, macaroni, and paint!

Date night with the kiddos.

Friday night we wanted to do something fun with the kids. Since it's too hot outside we had to come up with something inside. So we hit Panda and then cosmic bowling. The kids had a total blast. Kason didn't even use the ramp, he would just fling it all the way down. Jayli loved that she could carry the ball (6 pounder) all by herself and get it on the ramp and then with a little shove she was happy. Her favorite part was waiting for it to pop out from the mystery world.






Then Saturday night we went up to Koni's house to go swimming. They have the best pool, it was even nice and warm. The kids loved it. Kason is convinced that he can swim (he can't) but he's trying!! After we were all done, Jayli insisted on taking a bath in Koni's kitchen sink. Silly girl! Thanks Koni, for a fun night!

Better late than never!

So I realized I never put up pictures from camping
for the 4th of July. We went to our normal spot
up Joes Valley. We had a lot of fun. Unfortunately
I didn't take many pictures. OOPS!!

Wheres the rain?

We have been getting flash flood warnings for 2 full days now. How much rain have we had??? NOT A SINGLE DROP! Kason and Jayli were playing in the backyard today just waiting for the rain. It skipped right over us. Kason said "Mom I think it forgot about us." We need at least something to make this humidity seem semi worth it. I love when it floods here, it's the only drastic weather we get! Here's hopin' for something to happen tonight!

I'm very excited to say.....

Jayli is completely potty trained. Even at night. She has been waking up every morning for the past week with dry undies! Then it was over a week of dry diapers before that. So.... YEAH!!!!! I'm so excited. We will have a few months of NO DIAPERS!!!! She is such a big girl, we are so proud of her. We just have good luck with potty training!

I figured it was about time to try and get some new pictures of the kids. I hate taking them somewhere, its just so much work. We usually do a family picture at the end of the year, so these will just have to do for summertime pictures! I love that you can see Kason's freckly nose.

1.) being surprised when they say..."its a boy or its a girl!!"
2.) I love those first few minutes with the little one all alone with daddy
3.) Watching Kason and Jayli bond with baby, Kason instantly loved Jayli.
I am hoping for that to happen again.
4.)hoping to not have to be induced. Starting on your own is soooooo much better!
5.) the epidural!

3.) we aren't finding out boy or girl, so we need to come
4.) up with 1 of each. We both really like not so common names,

Pudding!!

Who knew you could make such a mess of one little face while making pudding!
He kept trying to tell me that he wasn't licking the spoon! For some reason, I didn't believe him!
They looove to help me make anything in the kitchen. As soon as I start they both come running in and push their chair over. Maybe someday they will like to cook!

Father and Sons!

Kasey and Kason went on the father and sons camp out. They had a great time.

Kason was so excited to tell me when they got home that he hiked clear to the very top of the mountain. I think his favorite part of the whole trip was Kasey put his car seat in the front seat so he got to sit by daddy.
